Who does the voice of 'The Man' / Michael?

IMDb lists Steven Vidler playing him, but I could swear his voice was Richard Carter (the chief in White Collar Blue, Timothy Spall's buddy in Gettin' Square, and a number of other things, recently on that ad for something or rather where he's an evil galactic emporer who says he has to cancel his pilates class). Am I right?

It is Richard Carter.

A very well known Australian character actor.

Was he sending up Heath Ledger? They both had the same hair and mannerisms, which went beyond any brotherly thing.

yeah when i first saw it, i thought it was his own dead self looking back at where he went wrong, which i think the director/scriptwriter intended to a certain degree
