Castleton shirt?

Does anyone know where I can buy a Nick Miller-esque Castleton t-shirt?

reply

I'm planning on getting one made up.

reply

you might want to try Castleton State College, the school whose shirt it is. They might still have the same style available. Website is www.castleton.edu

yes I know that...

... please don't ask why.

Aww, man! They don't have the style that was in the movie anymore! Ah well. I guess I'll just have to suffice with my Nick Miller haircut.

reply

Yeah, I'm actually a Castleton student. They stopped making that style years ago and replaced it. (kinda weird how fate turns out... I'm a MSTie fan AND a Castleton student?)

reply

I'm going to a plastic surgeon to get my Nick Miller chin installed.

What does the Nick Miller-esque Castleton tshirt look like?

I'm going to be a Castleton student next year, so I want to make one on one of those make-your-own-tshirt websites.

reply

The actual studio, Edgewood, sells the shirts. You can go there (to the Howe Center in Rutland, VT) and buy one for a small fee (actually, it might be a large one, I have no idea). So go for it!

reply

Huzzah! It's on their web store for $20!

I am so getting one!

Edgewood studios sells them on their website I'm pretty sure, or you could go to Castleton State College in Castleton, VT.

Google Castleton State College (my alma mater) and go to their online store.

Yes, just rub it in that YOU go to Castleton and we don't!

Gotta love those Vermont movies!

reply

A friend and are going out as Nick Miller (w/ Castleton shirt and no glasses) and past Nick Miller (pink button-up, with glasses) on Halloween. We got Castleton shirts from the Edgewood studios site.

Just ordered mine! Can't wait to cruise all the local funhouse-library-corporate 'headquarterzes' in a righteous Castleton shirt!

reply

Who am I kidding? I never went to Castleton!

reply

You also never had a poodle!

Had to chime in as another "Castleton snob"(graduated from CSC in 1999) This IMDB board is making me wonder if it is my alumni duty to watch this film. Tell me folks--should I?? Should I really? It sounds like it might be pretty horrid... The question is,then,is it delightfully horrid ? Or just HORRID horrid? Maybe I oughtta just seek out the MST3K version... I *DO* love me someMST3K...

reply

As one who formerly lived in the foothills of the Central Illinois Mountains and saw his former homelands overrun by vicious giant grasshoppers (see "The Beginning of the End") I warmly suggest that you see Tangents/Time Chasers but ONLY the 3K version. You'll be sorry, but you'll be sorrier if you miss it, hee hee hee!

Is that a rumor or did you just make that up? -Mom

reply

I ordered one from Edgewood studios. The quality is excellent. I'm glad I got it. I get the occasional knowing glance from people who are MSTies.

I don't have time to jaw with anyone who won't identify himself!

reply

My friend loves Timechasers, and she is originally from Vermont. The film isn't that bad - just overly ambitious and a bit silly. It makes for great MST3K. And you'll probably see places you recognize in it, which will make you giggle insanely. Lord, maybe I'll get a Castleton shirt for her on her next birthday, she'd love it. :P

reply

At least it was actually filmed in the Green Mountain State - unlike "Ben & Arthur" in which the protagonists fly to Vermont via Alaska Airlines and get married amid palm trees!
