Who is Ivan's interrogator?

When Ivan is arrested in 1956, the first words the interrogator says is something like "Nice to have you back." Who is this interrogator, though? He looks semi-familiar, is he one of Adam's teammates from the officer's club who might have met Ivan before the war?

Definitely not one of the fencers. He may only know Ivan from the secret police.

He was the husband of Ivan Sor's girlfriend (Maj. Carole Kovács), whom he said *beep* You' at Andor Knorr's funeral.
