Who was the Chris Hargenson of this film?

I wanted to hear from you all but who do you all consider to be the Chris Hargenson of the film? For me it comes down to Mark,Eric, and Tracy. Those three had seemed evil on how they hated Rachel.

reply

Tracy and Mark equally.

In Carrie, Chris is alone in being the big bad, with Billy as a stooge, though in the novel is more of an equal partner.

In Rage, Tracy and Mark are equally mean spirited.

According to the Stephen King Wiki Tracey is the 90's equivalent to Chris and Jesse is the Tommy. Which makes sense to me and I would assume that Mark would be the equivalent to Billy. And lucky Sue is still the Sue for the 90's and I would say that she is also the Ms. Collins.

Mark is the 90's male version of Chris. He is the one getting all of this going and pulling the strings just like Chris did in the 70's.

Even though Tracey Campbell was meant to be the "Chris Hargenson" of the story, but I definitely feel that Monica Jones was. I mean when you think about it, although Tracey really was a spiteful vindictive bitch, she didn't really do anything to Rachel. She didn't like her or that she was dating Jesse, but she didn't do much to toy with her. Monica, on the other hand, strategically manipulated Rachel for hers and the rest of the clique's gain. She purposely posed as her friend and was even a bit overly nice to her with the beauty tips and such... She played a major part in helping set Rachel up for the embarrassment and hurt she was about to experience at Mark's little after-party. '
I really see Monica as the MAIN queen bitch of the female clique.
