most people will like the first over this because its immature to think a sequel is better. everyone puts down sequels it seems. did any of the average viewers, people who watch movies for fun prefer this to the original? i did

No, I liked the original much more. However, this movie is soooo much better than the awful remake that was just released!

Carrie (1976) - 10
The Rage: Carrie 2 (1999) - 7
Carrie (2002) - 6
Carrie (2013) - 1

Disagreed. I find it nearly devoid of all redeeming qualities, but the f-cked up morality of the movie is what does it in for me

I just find it entertaining :). Good late 90's fun. I like almost all late 90's horror films though.
