What a two faced bitch !!

It doesn't get more in-your-face than this.Have a look at the NewsDesk articles for this movie. One of them is 'Winslet: I Love Getting Naked'and goes on like this-

"Kate Winslet loves stripping for movies. Kate says she has no problem getting her clothes off for racy scenes in films like Hideous Kinky and Holy Smoke. She says, "I like exposing myself. There's not an awful lot that embarrasses me. I'm the kind of actress that absolutely believes in exposing myself." "

What's the problem in that ? Nothing, just read the other article called 'Kate Winslet's Nudity Terror' which goes -

"Kate Winslet dreads having to perform nude scenes in movies - and it doesn't get any easier with practice. The Sense and Sensibility (1995) star, who first stripped off in TITANIC and has most recently been seen naked urinating next to Harvey Keitel in Holy Smoke (1999), says she just can't get used to removing her clothes in front of the camera. Winslet says, "Nudity is not easy and it isn't something that I love doing... When those scenes come along, I'm the most frightened person on the planet, you just want the earth to swallow you up. You're desperate for someone to come in and say, 'you don't have to do it'... I accepted that scene in Holy Smoke (1999) because it was vital to the movie. She's kind of going mad and I think it's very hard to make madness real and believable so fortunately, because I was thinking so much about that, I forgot I was naked." "

Not that I hate her, Hell she's a great actress, but isn't this a bit conniving ?

reply

Did she hurt your *beep* feelings? " Bitch "? Come on, have some damn tact.

Maybe she changed her mind between the articles. Who knows? Honestly, I find the source of your agression more intriguing.

reply

Okay ! Apparently bitch wasn't the right word, Two faced hypocrite maybe ? That 'tactful' enough for you ?

And by the way about the "changing her mind between the articles" thing, that was exactly the point, about how actors 'change' their 'minds' and then totally expect to get away with it.

How can somebody say things like -

"I like exposing myself.I'm the kind of actress that absolutely believes in exposing myself."

and then go to -

"Nudity is not easy and it isn't something that I love doing... When those scenes come along, I'm the most frightened person on the planet".

And frankly, this -

"She's kind of going mad and I think it's very hard to make madness real and believable so fortunately, because I was thinking so much about that, I forgot I was naked."

Maybe it was like - "I've got to look mad,I've got to look mad, wait...Where are my clothes ??!!!"

Makes me think two different people gave those interviews !

AND, I still maintain, She's a Great actress, and I'm NOT on some mud slingin' fest !

Come on man,try to see my point here.

Look, haven't you ever changed your mind about something? In your life? Maybe you didn't want to have kids, and now you do. Maybe you didn't want to become a dentist, but now you do.

It's the same thing with her. People change their minds. What's the big deal? Why shouldn't they " get away with it " in the first place?

reply

Okay, I'm burying the hatchet here !

Maybe this will solve the issue in question -

"On a scene from the movie Holy Smoke (1999),: "It was a difficult scene. When I read the script and I saw this scene was there, I laughed hysterically. I just couldn't believe it. When it came to shooting it, I had been sort of putting it off, and pretending it wasn't going to happen. And suddenly, I am there naked, peeing and thinking "Oh no!" It was really hard to do, but I've always loved the fact that it was there, and it's such a sort of turning point for the character I play in the movie that I've always felt sort of good, that it should be there.""

So she wasn't two faced after all !

My sincere apologies to anyone who felt offended by the subject of this thread.

People can change their minds about having kids, but the person who hates snakes will always hate snakes. At least he will not say "i love to play with snakes its so natural" later in his life.

I doubt the authenticity of "her" contradictory comments. Maybe a publicity stunt? Maybe the lines have nothing to do with her? At least one of them.

Do you believe everything you read?

reply

The problem was that the viewer was supposed to empathize with her, instead of just understand her. She was apparently a spoiled, sheltered girl. They could have run with that, but instead they had to embrace it.

reply

"exposed" does not have to mean physically exposed. Out of context quotes can be misleading and misused

reply

LOL, get a grip. Do you have any proof that she said those things? She might have said one but not the other. Gee!

I've never acted in films but I suspect there is a big difference between dropping trou in front of a film crew for general nudity and being filmed while trying to act out an intimate and very personal act while nude in front of a film crew.

Even if she is, so what? It only places her in the biggest club in the world.

Ah Dubey is still spouting his backward, ignorant ramblings. Sachinchandra Dubey is a bloody hypocrite. Preaching the word of Jesus then crapping on in his usual unchristian way

There once was an ugly duckling, it wasn't me, cause I'm so handsome.

KATE WINSLET IS BLODDY HYPOCRITE BITCH.

PRAISE JESUS OUR SAVIOUR.

that is too funny.

She probably never even said any of it... they always misquote, take things out of context, add, subtract and twist things until what was originally said disappears into whatever they have decided to print to please their audiences and the celebrity just shrugs it off because they had to do bunches of interviews and half the time don't even go back to read 'em.
