He wasn't supposed to be. But Kate Winslet isn't exactly a Supermodel either even when she was younger I have never found her to be anything special. She is quite ordinary looking.
The most attractive men and women are actually the ones that are "quite ordinary looking". The whole aspect of the perfect body that is heavily publicised by the media is completely biased and has nothing to do with reality.

My sister chose a long-haired man of Meso-American ethnicity, not because he had George Clooney looks -- which he definitely didn't -- but because he was interesting, knowledgeable, talented and amusing.
