Petition for Old School Barney on DVD

A while back, I wrote up a petition to get Season 1 (and later seasons 2 and 3) of this show onto DVD. So far only 25 or so (one's repeated, so that didn't count) people signed it and I know there are far more people who'd love to see the old episodes on DVD. Plus, with HIT deleting nearly all the episodes on Youtube, the time is right to produce a boxset for Barney.

If you want to sign this and see Michael, Tina, Luci, Tosha and all the others in the original cast again, go to "http://www.petitiononline.com/barndvds/petition.html";

I just signed it.

I wrote a email to HIT and I think that an automated message system told me that they would talk about it with their "people" and to subscribe to their newsletter.

I had " A day at the beach " on VHS a long time ago . I bet it would be worth a lot of money now. You probably can't find it at all anymore.

reply

Well, except on eBay and at thrift shops. It's actually not worth as much as you think, despite its age.

Actually, the older seasons do air on PBS Kids Sprout, so they still air on TV. But I really do know you mean the past seasons should be on DVD.

I'm pretty sure that they do.

I don't think so. After all, there's no regular PBS in Canada.

What is wrong with you people?

You so desperately want DVDs of an idiotic show for babies?

For what? Entertainment purposes? You honestly would find pleasure from watching Barney?

Goddamn, that's creepy as hell.

There are some of us who would like to bring back childhood memories. What's your problem with people who like something the majority doesn't. Hmm? I say just to go back to a forum about a show you DO like.
