what happened to the twins on the show(ashley and allissa)

i was just wondering b/c i have a daughter now and we watch barney all the time we have some of the old episodes on tape(found in thrift stores) with the original cast and its kinda cool to know that some of the kids are my age (mid 20's)but i wanted to know what happened to the twins and do they still act....

lol in reality they probobly just got older or like Maria they just dropped them all together, at least they were in more episodes than her.
