Why was there so much hate?
I used to flove this show as a child and I never understood the negativity. What was wrong with it???

Show such as Barney, Teletubbies, or Yo Gabba Gabba are easy to make fun of, but there are a number of older Barney episodes and videos that I have always loved. The songs and dances were great. Imagination Island, Waiting For Santa, the one on the playground (was in a green VHS box), the one on stage where they wheeled a bathtub out (was in a yellow VHS box), etc. These were good stuff for kids! Not to mention how a friend and I were Teletubby-obsessed at one point during middle school...covered half our lunch table in plush ones from key chain-size to regular. I think I may still have one or two. ;3
shareWhen I was in Kindergarten all my friends hated Barney so I hated him too. I was more into Sesame Street. Plus I was also into Dinosaurs and Barney was not as much fun to look at as a picture of a T-Rex eating a Brontosaurus.

I never really cared for Barney but I think there was so much hate because the show got so popular and it was annoying and easy to make fun of.

2) Glee
3)High School Musical
4) Hannah Montana
5) Jersey Shore
6) Dora the Explorer
7) Teletubies
8) Justin Bieber
9) Soulja Boy
10) The Spice Girls
Though Barney, the Spice Girls and a few of the others never acted as bad as Justin Bieber...
