Original aspect ratio 1.33:1?

IMDB says the original aspect ratio is 1.85:1, but on another site which reviews the film, it says the original aspect ratio is 1.33:1.

Judging by the width & font of the credits, they seem to be made for a 1.33 screen size. Also I didn't notice any evidence of pan & scan on the DVD nor did I notice anything cut off, the way you can tell with most chopped films. I tend to agree with the site that says 1.33 is the true ratio. Can anyone confirm this?

Wiki says it had a limited thatrical release in the US and the video premier was not until 2001 so I'm thinking 1.85:1. All DVDs seem to be 1.33:1 but then those were the days when Pan Scan reigned supreme in the home video market. Hmmmm...
