Some Trivia

My attempts at a user comment on this feature keep on failing the test. Three attempts so far. To me this is a feature worth enjoying and musing on and writing a comment about, just I find it difficult to pass the test with my comments.

The following is taken from my various drafts, placed here I will not need to try to include this in attempt four.

Some Cammie Trivia:

Johnny Rabbit, the rabbit doll that her father handed to her when tucking her up at 1:31:04 is the same soft toy that was knocked away from her by the car near the end of Poison Ivy 2 1995.

Johnny Rabbit is listed in the actors list of the end credits of Poison Ivy 2 1995.

There is a girl doll with some similarities in Back To The Secret Garden.

Her father, Brooks Willings - David Keith, occasionally looks a bit like her father, Dr. Wesley McClaren – Steven Seagal, in The Patriot 1998. That could relate to casting wanting a family resemblance.

In The Patriot, Holly – Cammie occasionally looks like Lucho Benito, the boy she meets in Andes when her Game Boy gets flat batteries.

Re the girl doll in Back To The Secret Garden:

This is on the settee at around 32:43 and is not too clearly lit, part of the scene. It is about the same height as Johnny and the clothing looks very similar, apart from the hat. I find the echo of Auschwitz uniform disturbing.

There is also a rabbit doll on the window seat, much clearer at around 25:20 and this is very much the same size and shape as Johnny, just the clothing is different, red shorts. The ending of Ivy 2 has a close up at around 1:25:08 which shows Johnny’s clothing to be so tight as to be like the skin of the doll, as if sewn in.

So this rabbit looks like Johnny, but is more likely to be another from the same series of toys?

Get to the new house, first thing when she is alone is to head to the window seat and the rabbit doll there. That is when she sees someone running to the garden.
