i just got the dvd and there is a line going down the center of the screen in the scene where emily and felix are walking to the mail room. also the lighting is pretty bad through the whole movie.
i still like it and it is a good college movie. this is my 7th year of college and i still have 2 more years. i am awesome.
Sounds like you have a bunk DVD or DVD player. Picture quality was fine throughout my DVD, in fact, it was far better than what I imagined a "college film" to look like. Some scenes kind of suffer due to the lack of high-quality equipment being used, but I thought the 60's Party and Rugby Game scenes were shot brilliantly.
shareThat line is there in my copy too, and the copy I rented years ago from blockbuster. It's just a scratch in the actual film itself when they were shooting that scene, not a lot you could do about it back then on a small budget. Lots of older movies have these scratches on their films as well, it's just odd to see it on a current movie for most people...
