shareViolence? I just watched the movie and the only violence is stuff exploding and weapons being fired. I don't consider that violence, none of it was directed toward a human being. Although I guess some sheep do give their lives.

It's been quite a while since the last post for me to be posting this and it'll probably never be read, but the main reason it's rated R is because of the swearing. 1) You can't say mother *beep* nor I believe use the word *beep* in any sexual connotation without it being R and 2) I believe the limit for saying the word *beep* anyways is once without it making the movie R.

This movie is allowed for general viewing in Iceland - the way the movie should be watched. The Pentagon Wars is viewed as a family movie here.

It's been showing on Cinemax in Bulgaria for for several months and it's always been around noon or early afternoon, with the warning "Not recommended for viewers under the age of 12" (but not expressly forbidden either). But mind you, Bulgarian subtitles traditionally tone down the profanity by using less vulgar expressions in the translations.

Lots and lots of language, mostly from Kelsey Grammer's character. He was amazing in this movie, I just watched it again for the first time in years.
