Incest??

Buddy Love is another form of Sherman. So in a sense, Granny Klump wants to do her own grandson...

Disturbing when you think about it.

LOL, but she doesn't know that's who he is. She doesn't even know about Buddy, she thought he was a male stripper.

But still, ugh! It was funny to me all these years until it aired on Bounce TV the other day. They showed both movies back to back and thats when it donned on me. Buddy Love IS Sherman, just a abnormal gene / clone. But I must admit that does make the plot of Granny lusting for Buddy even funnier in a sick way LMAO

Ernie Klump said in the scene when they were at the restaurant "Boy, if you wasn't my grandmother!" This was after Grandma Klump talked about how she got freaky with her boyfriend in the car.

That's kind of strange.

How is that strange? If she were some random old lady he would have told her to keep her personal business to herself, but because it's his grandmother talking to her like that would be inexcusably rude.

reply

It is strange. What, you would say to your grandfather, "Oh granddaddy, if we weren't related, boy....I'll break you off a piece?" If so, that as I said is....strange!

But looking at Ernie, he looks like he would have sex with an elderly woman.

Here's the scene on Youtube.

That thing I said doesn't make sense. Ernie's line comes before Grandma Klump starts talking about her personal business.

reply

Well Ernie was saying "If you weren't my grandmother" in a violent way. She had ran over his foot with her scooter and hurt him. He was basically saying "If you weren't my grandmother, I'd Eff you up for that".

Yes. He was referring to wanting to hit the grandma, NOT sleep with her.
Also, Buddy may come from Sherman's DNA, but in this film (unlike in the first) he is a seperate person, so in my opinion that makes it less weird. Not to mention he's part dog. Lol. Honestly, it's so completely out there and ridiculous that it doesn't seem weird at all. It's just too nonsensical to be offensive.
