If you take a look at Ferbus, he looks an awful lot like the Furby. Does anyone know for certain if this was the inspiration for that toy?

As soon as I first saw the Furby toy, this show was what first came to mind. If it's a coincidence, it's a very huge coincidence.

They actually made a Furby that looked like Gizmo. I can't remember why they made it, but I think it was a Toys R Us exclusive or something.

Just looking at Furbus now it's impossible not to connect it to the Furby. Even the names are similar. There's some Gizmo in there as well. The Furby is a mutt .
