sharei think the song is from a library of congress recording called; "Sea Lion Women" sung by Christine & Katherine Shipp but the original soundtrack for the movie calls it "She Began to Lie" sung by Christine Shipp. you can buy the soundtrack at amazon.com or the library of congress from itunes. the soundtrack version has backup music and is more interesting.
