i really like rupert graves in this movie

Well, i'll just say that i like rupert graves. PERIOD. but doing this romantic drama seems so different from the things he usually does. Usually, it's the other way around....where an actor is pigeon-holed into romantic-themed movies because of the way he looks/acts (ala Hugh Grant).
I don't know...i haven't really seen HALF his work to judge what his "style" is. I think that's why i like him so much. He's so eclectic in the roles that he plays, that it's hard to really pin him down. He's a real actor-actor.
Keep it up, rupert!

ps-does anybody know if this film will go on DVD?

I haven't watched a lot of his movies either. Actually I've just seen two...this one and 'Maurice' in which I thought he was brilliant. I've been to rupert-graves.com and his filmography indicates that his choice of roles is VERY eclectic. What other movies of his to do you recommend?

INTIMATE RELATIONS---anyother one i'm trying to get on dvd.

Check out A Room with a View for a very young, cute Rupert.

The movie- Here in America it was called " The Last King" about Charles II, but it's called something else in the UK- Great movie, Great Cast, including Rupert. And Dangerous, with Jeremy Irons is great. And of course Maurice. I can't think of any others right now

He's the best in The Forsyte Saga. It takes him from a man in his 20s to the end of his life. Check this one out, it is one of my favorite movies!

The Tenant at Wildfell Hall w/Toby Stephens also.
He's not a very nice guy but still is very good looking and some of the best acting I've ever seen.

Forsythe Saga is my second favorite. I'm close to have seen pretty much all of this movies.

He's also in a movie with Kristin Scott Thomas called a handful of dust. He's a real cutie there also.

Rupert Graves also has a major role in V for Vendetta, which is REALLY different from his other roles. He's quite good in it. He is very rare among actors - very beautiful and also a fine actor. :)

I absolutely love Rupert; not only for his beauty and amazing talent, but for the great diversity of roles he plays, and the way he just disappears into a role. I haven't seen him in this yet, mostly because it doesn't seem to be available anywhere, other than on VHS. I wish it would come out on DVD!

I just adored him in the 1990's, so handsome and really talented plus a great screen presence, I wish he had become a bigger star. He was very romantic and appealing in these various period films and romances he made in the 1980's and 1990's, unfortunately this film was one of his last films of this nature and as he moved into his forties pretty much got away for this sort of film. This is my favorite of his films but I also love MAURICE, INNOCENT SLEEP, ROOM TO RENT, WHERE ANGELS FEAR TO THREAD, DIFFERENT FOR GIRLS, and other films.

I, too, am an avid fan of Rupert Graves, a terribly under-appreciated actor.
I STRONGLY recommend BETTER FOR GIRLS, in which he superbly plays the best friend of a transexual woman.
