I watched this with my dad and this movie sparked up alot of conversations about the era and all the crazy *beep* that happened.
My dad was laughing his ass off at stuff like the pot brownies at the wildly successful US-China negotiations - because at the time it was this amazing success and noone could figure how Nixon pulled it off.
I just saw this movie for the first time and I too LOL'ed!
I think that the two leads were SPOT ON playing 15 y.o.'s.
HILARIOUS! and the many, many jokes about the Watergate era.
this movie was really cute.
HS Class of '73!! I just saw this movie for the first time & wow - what a memory trip. My "not church" wardrobe was entirely American flag and peace signs, etc. Nixon resigned my frosh yr at college & I didn't fully grasp at the time what a big deal it was then. Movie is a hoot!
shareI watched this movie myself in a hotel and I thought it was really cool and I thought Dick was a funny movie and it was so nice to see Dave Foley from Newsradio in this movie because he was just so fun. I also thought it was funny that the girl had a crush on President Nixon and would daydream about him and her as crushes. I also have the Dick soundtrack which is also fun to listen to as well
