Woodward and Bernstein

I absolutely love watching Will Ferrell and Bruce McCulloch's impersonation of Woodward and Bernstein in this movie. Hilarious! I love how McCulloch as Bernstein kept brushing his massive lion-mane of hair back! Maybe he was actually just doing it because his wig was bothering him, but it ended up looking like a character mannerism reflecting some kind of major ego (Bernstein was known to have a big ego). I love how it was sort of trying to copy elements from the movie "all the president's men" with Bernstein riding around on his bike at night!! It was great when Woodward (Ferrell) was like "Don't ruin this for me Carl!" and they were fighting over who got the story!

Also, there were some other actors in this movie were also on "The kids in the hall" like the guy who played Haldeman. Awesome performances.

This is one of my favorite comedies because it is very smart, well written, witty, and reflects an interesting time in history.

My favorite scene is in the beginning when French Stewart almost tricks them into revealing the identity of Deep Throat.
Really sets the mood for a great political comedy based on tweaked facts.
