Drum corps music?

The girls run out of the White House and onto the mall near the reflecting pool. There is a band dressed in drum corps style uniforms, being conducted vigorously, a la drum corps, and playing a very rousing song that sounds like it's all horns and drums. (However, the band has saxophones and maybe other woodwinds.)

It's a great song. Anybody recognize it? Is it a real band, and if so what band, or just actors suited up for the movie? Is the song in the movie's soundtrack album? (Doubtful.) And finally, I guess, is the song performed by a drum corps and dubbed over the scene of this band, or was it really performed by a band and I just can't make out the woodwinds in it? No such song is credited at the end.

As the song comes to its sudden end, that's when Kirsten Dunst shouts the embarrasing line, "You can't let Dick run your life!"

It just seems odd that such a song as this would be here in a movie like this one. I think it means somebody involved in the movie, like the director maybe, has a taste for this kind of great music. It's nice we got a sample anyway.

Thanks, music fans!

i really really would like to know, too!

Don't know what it is, but the style is similar to the theme music of some 1970s TV cop shows/action shows.

I love this music. Unfortunately, there isn’t in soundtrack or in credits. I used the shazan… but nothing. In 3:43 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gS1AjkXISV4
