Is anyone even noticing how dumb this movie is written, paced and acted?

The toilet scene: let's break it down.

Russian mobsters break into twin brothers' home to kill them - but decide to kill just one of them and let the other one live, even though he knows what they look like. Why?

Instead of killing the brother right there on the fifth floor, the mobsters take him all the way downstairs and outside - where they can be seen and he could yell for help. Why?

The brother handcuffed to the toilet manages to rip it out to escape - then decides to carry the toilet to the roof. Why?

The answer, in case you're wondering, is bad writing.

Maybe now you're starting to get an idea of how fυсking retarded this movie is. All the slow motion in the world can't change that.

Yeah this film is pretty rediculous and dumb. But you cant deny how entertaining it is.

No, you could deny it. But I won't. I like it.

Adding to your (spot-on correct) points.....

Toilets are real *beep* heavy. He must've been in great shape to A) rip it out- nuts n bolts, no matter B) carry the damn thing however far, up to the roof C) STILL have the strength- and balance- to step up on those drums.
AND THEN, the way he released the toilet- dropping it back and letting it sort of flip out of his hands.... that shows that he wasn't actually stuck attached to it. Thus, he could've done that as soon as he ripped it up back in the room. WTF?

Still an iconic and pretty awesome scene, though.

He did it with the power of Christ, didn't you know this is a superhero flick and they're immune from normal logic because they're doing God's will ridding the city of Boston of evil...watch it again and think of how perfectly everything falls into place because they're doing "His" will.

This movie is awful. The two brothers are way too happy considering what they are doing. Every character is flat. Terrible acting and way too overconfident. I couldn't figure out why this movie was so bad as it seems to have potential. Then I heard they were trying to be like Tarantino. I never would have guessed. I couldn't identify or sympathize with a single character. Whatever the filmmakers were trying to do, they tried way too hard and missed every available mark.
