Well at first it made no sense because he was with the group that says their descendants and thinks she's a witch, he did it with Debbie knowing while both him and her were dating other people, so basically he has no respect for relationships. He didnt defend her when she went up to the car. She brought her to be tied up also!!! So why she is kissing him at the end seems a mystery. Ah, but when you learn at the very end that indeed she is the witch reincarnated, she says "2 down, 4 to go" and she whispers in erics ear "I've been waiting for you." She's with him to kill him next.
