Ok so i get that charlie was a desendant of sara's sister who held a grudge and all but i dont get why at the end sara Z said that charlie was right that there realy were 6 desendants and all and then she said that ending line. it did look like she and one dude where now dating....but it was all too confusing to me so please HELP!
shareMy take on it is she became possessed by the spirit of the witch during that dream and now that Charlie was out of the picture the spirit completely took her over because there was no one else to do the dirty work for her.
shareYes, Charlie was doing the killing, but Sara really was the reincarnation (or embodiment or whatever) of the witch all along. A very interesting twist, though the movie could have been better.
shareLate reply, I know, but Charlie was related to the witch's sister through his father (Ted Rankin, the history teacher) and through his mother (I assume) related to 1 of the 5 who burned the witch. His great-grandmother was Debbie's great-aunt, so they both had the same ancestor. So Charlie was also a descendant who had to be punished.
It seems Sarah is the reincarnation of the witch and is now set out too take revenge on the rest of the descendants.
