because I've chosen not to watch this movie because I read a post on here about what she does to the dog. I've always not been able to watch movies where dogs get killed on purpose or their owners are taken away from them. Now I'd probably watch the movie if the grandmother didn't have a dog. That's why I feel like a terrible person. I cry more over animals getting killed in movies then people. Has anyone else felt the same?? Isn't it horrible??
shareThat is pretty horrible. For instance, it's a shame that people are more outraged by Michael Vick's dog-fighting actions than by the rape of a woman or by the vicious beating of a mere suspect at the hands of the police. Ridiculous.
shareYears later but... I hate the trope of Pets dying in thriller movies... Humans for the most part have a voice and free will. Animals and babies or small kids do not. They are innocent and helpless. It doesn't make one or the other less deserving of sympathy. I feel bad for both my fellow man and animals.
