So are we to assume that the dog and the grandmother were taken out of the house after Debbie killed them both? What happened to them? Also, wouldnt the movers have noticed a stench after so many days?

The church boys came by the house to pick up donations. The trunk, with the dog and Grandma inside, was among the donations.

All articles which are excluded shall be deemed included.

I think the movie is supposed to be funny. It seems like a serious drama at first but then it gets more and more comical and ridiculous. I don't think it's meant to be taken seriously.

I knew the minute I saw the dog that something terrible would happen to it. If Debbie would kill so many others, no way she'd let the dog live.

Years later buut... I hate the trope of killing pets in thriller or horror movies.

Debbie was a complete psychotic bitch. The Dog while yappy didn't deserve to be killed.(can't remember if it bit her. If so still not a reason) This part really drove home the fact how coldblooded Debbie was. At least the scene isn't graphic. Also Rose McGowan is a known animal lover and supporter if it makes anyone feel better.

Its a common trope with serial killers to kill animals. It was to show how evil she became.
