I think it depends which actress we like the most ? Actually to settle this one ( for me IMO ) I would just get both movies then I won't have to choose between either one because like you said we " Love both of them, " . Thanks CharmedSlayer316 for this subject post .

Poison Ivy is by far the better movie. It actually has a brain and there's some depth to the story. Ivy wasn't a villain, but more of a medium for what the characters wanted. The girl from Rosanne wanted a friend. The mom wanted death, to end her suffering. The dad wanted to feel longed. He wanted the passion and sex him and his wife once had.

Ivy simply wanted some form of acceptance and the only way she got that was by giving the family what they wanted. Who's truly the villain in this scenario? The family took advantage of a troubled teenager. Even when Ivy had the chance to kill the girl from Rosanne, she didn't.

Devil in the Flesh is pure and utter trash, but if that's what you're in the mood for, it'll definitely satisfy that itch.

Devil in the flesh is a great thriller about Debbie strand who will stop at nothing to have her man.

Posion ivy had a girl who wanted her friend's dad, her past isn't explored nor is anyone in danger except the mom and daughter who manage to survive for most of the film.

^^^ Shows how much you actually paid attention to the movie (Poison Ivy) while watching it.

Ivy isn't supposed to be a villain. Ivy's identity is that she takes on whatever characteristic the other people want in her. Her past isn't explored, b/c Ivy molds herself to whatever other people want of her in order to gain acceptance. Even in the end, you discover that her name wasn't even Ivy.

Ivy was never out to take murderous revenge. Look at the scenes w/ the mom. First, Ivy presents herself as the type of daughter the mom wanted. Second, the mom talks of wanting to die, to end her pain. Ivy talks to the mom about death and she gives the mom what she wants.

Ivy is exploring the idea of perception and does it quite well.
