Barbara Gordon is shown listed as being Type AB-negative, and it's said she matches Nora. If Nora's Tybe AB, she ought to be able to receive blood from many different donors.

It's not just blood she needed. She needed organs as well. No dead donors were available.

As I recall, the point was made repeatedly about Nora's needing a donor-match with regard to blood; this isn't to say that's all that would be exchanged.

Yeah, they basically oopsed and got the blood typing thing backwards.
