This show is 40 years old now......

First off, I watched the show beginning in the mid 70s, when I was in my mid teens, so I wasn't the age the show was supposedly geared towards. There was only about 6 channels in those days to watch, and it was a very entertaining program. My younger brother watched it (he got that catalog that is still around the house somewhere) and so did a younger niece. She and I STILL talk about things from that show, just last week we texted something back and forth that we thought was funny from an episode. Being 40 years now, I would imagine the original cast members would like to see an anniversary get together, a reunion of some kind. Does anyone know if something is being discussed?

Uh where I live in the Chicago area, there were more than 6 channels and I don't know why you'd even bother mentioning that fact as it has nothing to do with the show itself.

My point was based on how the show was supposed to be aimed at kids a certain age, like 8-12, and I was older when I started watching it, like 15 or 16, but there just wasn't much to watch in those days. Cleveland had 3 clear channels, and 3 more if you got UHF. I was flipping them all once and came upon it.
