Color or B/W?
I've just watched Zoom episode 1 part 1 on youtube, and can't help but notice that it is in color. I distinctly remember watching Zoom c. 1973 in Black and White on KCTS - Seattle (yes, we had a color television). What gives?

shareIt was always in color here in NY where I grew up. I think you are simply remembering differently.
He's taking the knife out of the Cheese!
Do you think he wants some cheese?
I also remember it being in color. Who could forget those big orange ZOOM letters?
shareZoom was always filmed in color, but a few PBS station still transmitted their programming in B&W into the 70s. I remember our PBS station Channel 2 in Miami did go to color until 1972, and the other PBS station, Channel 17 didn't broadcast in color until 1974. When a program was simulcast on both channels they would announce on Channel 17 that "this program may be viewed in color on WPBT - Channel 2".
shareYou had a black and white television set.
