Used to be good - give it that, at least.

I don't watch this show anymore (for obvious reasons), but I acknowledge that it USED to hit a ton of good notes back in the 90's, when Canadian humour was at a bizarre peak (Kids in the Hall, early 22 Minutes, early Red Green). The show just hasn't aged well, like the other 90's Canadian hits that refused to evolve (though Red Green did alright).

Movies on IMDB are not overrated, you're just of the minority that doesn't bloody LIKE THEM!

No, on TV I refuse to admit it was ever good. These guys should never have left radio. I remember when i was a kid listening to them on the radio and it was fairly funny, not hilarious but it worked. Where they got the idea to put 4 pretty untelegenic people on Television is beyond me.

This show was never funny. I've seen sketches from time to time and they always follow the same formula.

1. Person doing a bad impersonation delivers the set-up line.
2. Person doing a bad impersonation delivers the punch line.
3. Repeat steps 1-3 until you run out of ideas.

While KITH and the early 22 Minutes (before Rick Mercer left) were great, Red Green never really clicked with me. I think part of the reason for that was I never knew anybody that was like Red Green which was the reason a lot of people watched the show.

No the formula was this: "So I saw [insert politician or famous person here] in the news the other day and he said he was going to blah blah". "Yeah, well [insert hackneyed, ignorant stereotypical moronic thought in here]." Repeat ad infinitum.
