This is NOT a rip off of Seven

Seven was based on the seven deadly sins whereas Resurrection was based on the resurrection of Christ.

I love this film and Robert Joy was great in this (now better known as Sid in CSI: New York. The best scene where Christopher Lambert's character finally realises who is the murderer - it's like he has been stopped with a bullet - fantastic stuff.

It seems to have disappeared off the radar completely and you cannot get it on DVD anywhere which is a shame.

Christopher Lambert may not be the greatest actor but he was really good in this. Had Brad Pitt done this instead of Seven, I am sure everyone would be loving this film instead.

It's such a shame they are compared as they are completely different

They're NOT totally different films, but they're a little different.

Lambert is good in this, but the writing is flawed.

His partner is so NOT a cop.

I think Seven is a superior film.

This one could have been good, but it just isn't.

I don't love it.

I think it's predictable and formulaic and not even filmed very well.

But I do love Chris Lambert.

I think he's underrated and underrused.
