Is there a DVD available anywhere in the world for this title?

I looked it up for you on the internet. It's a 2007 disc, but no mentioning of subs, sorry. Well, it's for the dutch market, and mostly we don't use subtitles for dutch films.
Btw., Peter Duncan made an Australian remake called UNFINISHED SKY (2007), also starring Monic Hendrickx als the foreign female fugitive. I didn't think it was as good as THE POLISH BRIDE (and without the beautiful, atmospheric Ede Staal songs), but interesting and worth watching nonetheless.

If you have netflix where you are it is available with subs so it must be available for purchase somewhere
