I can't really figure out why this was rated R. Yes, there was a little profanity and some sexual situations but most of which you can see worse of on free TV. The one line of Laurel Lee's crude seduction attempt, wouln't make the cut, but the most this deserved was a PG-13.
shareThat puzzled me, too. The whole movie was pretty inoffensive (Josh, of course, just pretty - but that goes without saying). I was surprised by the downbeat ending, too.
shareIt was a realistic ending but after the rest of the movie - you weren't expecting a realistic ending. I kind of expecting there to be residual Daddy problems.
It just didn't have the same feel to it as the rest of the film either.
