I bought this the other day, not expecting much but was really impressed with the entire thing: nice violence, good characters, humor, romance. this baby had the lot.

I thought it was pretty weird that the guy suddenly got struck by lightning, sort of reminded me of DOA with the whole blowing up of the world.

Just saw the film and I have to agree, pretty damn good. I recognized Kôji Chihara (the main actor that played Riichi) immediately, I loved him in Pornostar aka Tokyo Rampage, excellent actor. Just a great movie, not a crazy Miike movie but a good one. Great music too and yes that guy got fried, right after he *beep* his pants too, brutal.

what's the UNCUT length of this movie, does anyone know?
Just got my Artsmagic region 1 DVD, it says 107 mins, while IMDB says 108 min. Did US distributor cut out a minute? thanks
