Campaign for DVD on Animeondvd

A group of members are campaigning for 'Fist of the North Star'. They are demanding for it's release and companies are starting to take notice.

A company called Media Blasters is persueing the rights to the 1986 movie which was dubbed and released in theatres by Streamline.

Is it not available on dvd already in region 1? I'm sure it's nearly impossible to find and you'd have to seek it out from some online store or more likely Ebay, but there is a region 1 dvd?

Either way, they should give it a rerelease, so I can simply walk into a Best Buy or Wal Mart and buy it, greatest anime of all time, one of the greatest movies of any genre/format of all time.
