Power without Perception is virtually useless???

That's what the wise Ryukin tells Raoh. But at the end, it is Raoh who kicked everyone's ass, including Ken's. Raoh was the last man standing. So what was the lesson of this story?

Raoh was still the loser in the end, though, because he didn't understand how much of an impact Kenshiro made on the lives of regular people like Lynn. He had more strength, but he didn't have any direction or a sense of purpose like Ken. I'm guessing that's what was implied by the line.

Raoh, until the very end of the film, has power without perception.

During this time, he is a tyrant and causes a lot of suffering in the world.

When Lin persuades him to spare Ken's life, Raoh starts to finally GAIN perception. The implication is we now have hope that he will be less of an evil tyrant. The end of the film is all about hope. Roah's change, the growing plants, etc.

Very interesting, thank you. But how about that Zone of life Ken found, was it ALL a holocination? Ore did Ken moved on from it, into the sandstorm again?

Dawn of the Dead ´78 is the best movie ever.

As the others have said, that line was one of many improvs by the dub director Carl Macek. He's made an infamy of stripping the original anime storylines and rewriting them for a Western perspective. The Japanese ending actually has a more uncomfortable implication between Raoh & Lin, as the former tells the latter to hurry up and mature because (having the blood of an empress) Lin could conceive the ultimate prodigy with the blood of Hokuto. This idea was explored in the latter half of the manga.

he was the last man standing and he almost killed Ken, but stoped, that is power with perception. When you have demi-god like powers, you have to respect them, that's what Ryukin was getting at.
