What was Sandler's last great movie before he started to go downhill?

For some reason I thought this was his last great movie before his career started to go downhill, most of the movie he has released after "Big Daddy" started to go downhill IMO

"Chuck and Larry" was the last movie he made that wasn't overly lame and corny. With exception of probably "Funny people" but that was mostly because that wasn't your normal Sandler movie.

Agreed, except for the longest yard which I actually liked.

I've only ever really liked his movies from the 90s. 50 First Dates was ok but it wasn't really funny. I must have liked it cos of the storyline or something, and the location. Oh I also liked Reign Over Me and Punch Drunk Love but they weren't typcial Adam Sandler movies. Oh and Mr Deeds was ok but I liked it for the storyline too. There were a few funny parts but not much. Everything else he's ever done sucks big time.

Spanglish and The Longest Yard were decent, but his 90s movies were the best Wedding Singer, Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. I still enjoy his movies now, they make me laugh. That's My Boy and Jack n Jill, I thought he was annoying and not being himself. Like trying too hard to be awkward.

Big Daddy was his last great movie, but Click was his last decent movie.
