I'm impressed with this. I didn't think anything DragonBall related NOT written by Akira Toriyama could be good, but this one was great. IF Akira would have written a story about the destruction of Vegeta, it'd look something like this.

IMO, it's better than any other episode, movie or TV special (Trunks' TV special is almost as good), from DB, DBZ or DBGT. Best Dragon Ball related thing ever produced. Very well written, the animation is good, for DBZ standarts... Any otaku should watch it.

Actually Akira Toriyama loved this movie and the character of bardock himself that he stuck him in a flashback scene in his manga afterwards.

Hands down the best DBZ movie of them all.
