Only bad thing about Goku
Goku is great but the only problem i have with him is that he never hesitates to leave his wife and kids.

I agree. And Chichi's always in a lot of pain when she finds out that Goku's going to be gone a long time, so she must have been just crushed when it hit home that Goku will never, ever be coming back again (at the end of GT) - you'd think someone as dedicated as Goku would stop doing that to his family and settle down. But I guess that, in a crazy way, he's kind of like Vegeta - the Saiyan in him just won't die. It looks like he'd choose training over family time any day, as wonderful a husband and father he is - with the way he keeps leaving them to train and all.
nobody ever earned any wages by being pessimistic.
