What was up with the head?
I mean, the police officer, that star in Hollywood, when they saw it they went crazy. Does anyone know why?
Because this was before we as a generation were desensitized to violence and gory. Also it was something they had never seen so they went into shock.

I would also observe that despite the preservative qualities of Tupperware, Chester's head would likely have not been in a very pretty state by the time the lawmen got hold of it...
