This movie is, in fact, fantastic! A coming of age story mixed with comedy and a great responsibility for social intrests. You simply MUST watch it and absorb it all start to finish. That is because the ending is as good as the entire movie. Griffith's soliloqy at the end is simply a cataclysm of life itself. I don't know how many times I have seen this but it increases weekly.

I agree. I saw it for the first time last night and I absolutely fell in love with it from the point of "he said no when he should've said yes."

I love this movie too.. It's amazing how real it is, I forget that i'm watching a movie, i'm so engrossed in the film and I don't wanna snap out of the trance!
