Artsmagic are bringing Bird People of China out in America on November 16th. Having yet heard full details of extras, etc. but they usually do an excellent job. Watched the film last night, and it's gone straight to the top of my list of Miike movies; it's truly excellent.

I saw this film(via Netflix) and loved it. I want to buy the dvd but from what I remember of the dvd it had a terrible transfer. Any idea if this will be getting a R1 release with a good image transfer?
