This is the most booring film i ever watched.

It started booring and went down hill from there the entire cast seem to be on depresants.
I image life in england is alot like this movie pure drudgey apparenly it only ever stops raining when it starts hailing instead.
The strong english accents help the sense of british brand boordom and drudgery this film wallows in all the way to the completly uneventfull end.
This is one movie where that fast forward controll will be handy if you actually manage to remain awake to the end.

Dow I forgot one other thing about this film it's completly Dull how could I forget that - I don't just mean the content either the actual film appears washed out, very dark and low contrast - i initally thought it may have been shot in black and white - it matches the Dull story perfectly so Mabey this was intentional ?. On the other hand it is perhaps the result of the overcast weather and continuous precipitation which appears to have confounded the film makers continually during shooting of this movie.
I guess in england as they say "raining one day hailing the next".

I was laughing quite alot while writing that last letter - it probably did not help my writing skills. B-gone's thoughtfull and witty 1 liner deserved a responce and i did forget this aspect of the movie.
Hope they will responde again. The people i know who watched this film agree with my POV about it. I am supprised that it managed above 5 in IMDB ranking. My comments represent the people who would not even bother to vote on this movie.

What exactly were you expecting from a movie dealing with this subject matter? Did you want an action film?!

The cinematography was nice.

I'd recommend the "eject" button more than the "fast-forward" button. ;-)
