Submarine films, docos and stories

I'm after submarine-themed films, or films that feature submarines in their plot enough to warrant the genre, and any of your personal experiences aboard them, or visiting them, or stories from third parties, or just books or even websites you would recommend. I've always found something sinister and foreboding about submarines, yet strangely appealing, but lately I've been soaking it up like a sponge. I'm open to all suggestions - movies, docos, whatever. It doesn't matter if you think they're below par. From U-boats to Los Angeles class to Akula class, I don't care; I want it all. And if you happen to be a submariner, an ex-submariner (although apparently once a submariner, always a submariner), or you're just someone knowledgeable on the topic, I'd love to know about it.

So far I have:

Films-

The Hunt for Red October
Crimson Tide
K*19: The Widowmaker
In Enemy Hands (I know, lame)
U-571 (I know, Hollywood rewriting history again, blasphemous, disrespectful etc etc. Good production values, though)
Below
The Enemy Below
The Land That Time Forgot (does this even count?)
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea - 1954 (what about this?)
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (I'm reaching now)
Das Boot (director's cut)

You can rank this list if you like, but any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Documentaries-

Grey Wolves - U-Boats 1939-1941
U-Boat - Sea Wolf
The Secret of U-166
The Iron Grave
Death Traps
Silent Service
Weapons Races - The Race for the Nuclear Submarine

*I know U-boats aren't technically 'submarines'.

**With two small exceptions to my requests, please do not suggest anything to do with living in a yellow submarine, or '30,000 Leagues Under the Sea'.
