This show ruined television for me

There will never be another show as great as this.

Breaking bad.

LOL

Many shows, arguably, were better.

But it was a good show ... well, so long as AJ and Meadow were nowhere to be found. Carmela too.

Preference.

No way do I think Breaking Bad is better than Sopranos.
It's not a show that after watching it I go back to.

Check out the new Walker Texas Ranger show

You take that back.

This show is awful.
Has nothing to do with the original series, so should have never takn the name.

I watched the

1st episode out of excitement, hoping for some round house kick to the head of some teacher who is making kids sell drugs.

2nd episode, hoping for some excitement other than a ranger lost his wife and in a state of depression went on a bender and left his kids with his brother. (the OG Walker would never do some weak $hit like that)

3rd to make fun of the awful show.

4th..........................yeah, never made it that far. Bored.

Seen a few random episodes of this here and there but it just never caught my interest.I would put Mr Robot and Breaking bad above it IMO.

Sopranos is incredible but I think a lot of the hype giving it the title “best show ever” had to do with it being the best show on the air when online reviews and online “best of” lists were first available in the medium of the Internet. There are still other shows I would put above Sopranos such as Breaking Bad, Twin Peaks, and The Wire.

There will never be another ____ as great as this ____ because I saw it during the prime of my life and therefore all other _____'s are inferior.

^THAT.

I agree nothing has been better since The Sopranos. However, before Sopranos came along the HBO series OZ started it all. OZ has fantastic writing, great casting, and superb acting. Many people say OZ is better than The Sopranos and in many ways it is better.

Without Gandolfini The Sopranos would be greatly diluted. However, OZ had so many great characters/actors it would have been awesome even if 1 or 2 of the main characters never appeared on the show.
