I always wondered, can you really be suffocated by a pillow? It's not like a plastic bag wrapped around your head (think Better Call Saul's murder scene).
When I was a kid I use to play with my neighbor's daughters and we'd do pillow chokes just like Paulie did and none of us passed out because it's easy to breath through.
If you pay close attention Paulie snaps her neck for the coup de grace.
shareYeah you're right, but I'm talking about in general in most movies/TV shows where someone creeps up on a sleeping person in bed and then presses a pillow over their face. There's not enough pressure being on a bed to break their neck and they usually show the person barely resisting and then dying.
Same with putting socks in people's mouths. I use to do that shit as a kid too and could easily spit it out. LOL
