Who was Kevin Finity? Did Tony join the Witness Protection program?

The Kevin Finity episode had me thinking that was who he was thinking of becoming. Traveling far away and starting a new life.

Seeing Johnny Sack go away for 15 years, he had to know he was up against the same amount of time without his family. He already felt a lot of dissension within the crime family, a lot of disrespect. He didn't feel so much loved but he just had to uphold the omerta.

He was always getting mushy and reflecting on things. Especially after the coma.

Yes it was his subconscious reimaging of his life, a sort of wish fulfilment, coupled with the disconnect he felt from his family and he's being lost or "who am I? Where am I going?". Evidenced by the lost briefcase and being stranded.
