Easy solution: click on the thread and hit the ignore button. Threads disappear

shareI should have stated that I also report the poster to IMDB requesting a handle ban solely for the reason you just cited. Flooding the forum creates a backlog where legit queries and comments get drowned out by flooders.
I've found that labeling these posters as SPAM or TROLLING gets rid of them faster than all of the other options.
