Big pussy

I'm up to the season right after the World Trade Center attacks. They even make reference to the guy from the last who people claim made predictions. Anyway, the question I have is, as you might be able to tell, I already seen the episode where big pussy gets shot on the boat. The one thing I do not get is in one episode you see BP in a mirror reflection yet he is not in the episode as a flashback nor addressed by another character in any way, shape or form like in other episodes up to this point. It is even mentioned in the trivia section. Is this supposed to be an Easter egg or something?
